I know this is not the exact definition… But i guess it is sufficient, isn’t it? Sometimes it all feels as facade, but sometimes that’s what gives us hope! It’s all individualistic….opinion! No religion or belief is superior from the other! God or no god, it’s all your choice to make! And don’t forget to do your own investigation before you come to any conclusion.
When you light a candle to let peace flow in, you can’t keep worrying about the candle getting smaller. It is inevitable! Similarly, when you are with the people you love, enjoy being with them instead of worrying about the very little time you have with them!
We procrastinate because we find all other things more enjoyable!
So the only way to survive and succeed in this world, is by learning to enjoy and embrace being bored!
Enjoy being alone! Spend time all by your self, without having a phone to escape boredom, without having people to mindlessly complain or gossip about.
Enjoy failing….enjoy making mistakes….Enjoy learning!
Enjoy being behind… Enjoy being not all figured out…not having everything figured out means, you still have a chance to get into new adventures….Enjoy the different colours and flavours of life
Enjoy the path… Enjoy the uncertainities… Embrace and accept life and everything in it… For how it is… And not how you want it to be!
My previous post was about chasing our dreams before it gets lost, but this one is for those who have simple dreams. Their dreams are pretty simple. When you ask them about their dream life and their future life, their answer would be:
A simple home in the country side, A loving partner or none at all, a simple life style far from the buzz of the city, a small home, a simple vehicle for transport, a satisfying job with a minimal salary, etc.
But they all would be choosy with one thing. They would want their passion to be with them, it could be their loved one or it could be a profession or something they always longed to do. But definitely not the conventional dreams, that’s for sure. There ambition is to be peaceful.
They are the non ambitious ones, their chase for dreams do not fall in the rat race. They are happy with the small things that life could offer. The simple fragrance of flower could give them the immense joy that a 100 dollars could not. They choose to have a happy and peaceful life over materialistic things. These are defintiely the rare creatures.
They have to face the world where people often remind them that their dreams are too small. People call them stupid. When the whole wide world rushes behind luxurious brands, they simply love the comfort of a relaxed morning coffee. When people expect expensive gifts, a simple flower and a letter saying how much you care for them can be enough for them to rejoice.
These great old souls suffer a lot to adjust with the society. They are minimalist and essentialist. This piece is for them. It’s okay to be non ambitious, it’s okay to be happy with simple things. It’s okay to choose peace and satisfaction over any other materialistic thing. It’s okay to live your life in your own way!
Most people live and die thinking that the goal of life is to be happy. Sure, it’s great to be happy but what is ultimate happiness? It comes from liberation. It comes from self realization that we are not the body and mind. We continue to live in prisons of misery and sorrow, because we don’t pursue the ultimate goal of life!
